We walk through traditional motivational models and explain why rewards can break intrinsic motivation. Transforming our conversations into coaching sessions, you’ll learn tools for making others feel as if the ideas for change are theirs. We end the session with guidance on how to create metrics that measure the success of the behavior changes and the ultimate results that the organization wants to see. Using examples, we show how you can make good estimates without having to have perfect data – and how those estimates can go awry. We end with classic adoption stories that didn’t work and explain why.
